Challenges

One of my resolutions was to participate and complete two challenges this year.

I am going to do the 2010 Debut Author Challenge, hosted by The Story Siren. I barely missed my goal with the 2009 challenge, so I'm going to once again aim for 30 books. I will make a post on the 14th or so of every month to track my progress. (That way I don't fall just a little short again.)



I am also going to participate in the POC Reading Challenge, Level 5 (read 16-25 POC books). This challenge has its own blog. Like the other challenge, I will make a month post tracking my progress. I will try to write reviews of the challenge books even if they aren't review copies.

'09 Debut Authors Challenge

I'm having trouble with the VC Andrews Challenge, but hopefully I'll catch up in the summer. In the meantime, I'm joining The Story Siren's '09 Debut Authors Challenge. Since I'm lazy, I'll just aim for her number: 30 books by debut YA or MG authors.

So far I have read:

My V.C. Andrews Movement Progress

I am participating in the V.C. Andrews Movement/Reading Challenge hosted by Reviewer X and Taren.



I must read 11 out of 26 books by V.C. Andrews (four of her series and MY SWEET AUDRINA are options).



The only V.C. Andrews book I've read previously is MELODY, the first of the Logan series. My sister bought a discarded copy at the huge Friends of the Houston Library sale at George R. Brown Convention Center. It's been so long that I only remember the incest was with her cousin. I thought his name was Luke but Amazon says Cary. Makes sense since Luke Logan would be an awful name.
