The Ranger's Apprentice . . . free!

Many have posted about this, but it's still cool. Until February 15th, Penguin is offering the first Ranger's Apprentice book (THE RUINS OF GORLAN) for free on Scribd. What's it about, you ask? The official synopsis says:

Sounds pretty cool to me. I like this promo since I've seen the series around and didn't know whether I wanted to make the monetary commitment. Guess I'll know after I finish the eBook!
